My Sourwood Honey comes from deep in the Great Smoky Mountains right beside National Park Service Property,  well away from the hustle and bustle of every day life and the harsh pollutants and chemicals.  Sourwood honey is a sweet light honey that the bees only make during the summer from the sourwood tree, not much else is blooming during that time except some sparse clover so the purity is very close to pure sourwood.   Sourwood is a very sought after honey and with just a few beekeepers that make the trek, have the access, and pay close attention to keep it pure its hard to come by.  Some years are greater that others at production so get it while you can because next year my not be a prosperous year for the sourwood honey.
